Hey guys! Welcome back to the blog.

I get so many questions from you guys asking how I manage to travel, compete, and spend basically my entire life on a mountain without, you know… dropping out of society. So, I figured I'd give you the tea on what my "classroom" actually looks like.

Spoiler alert: It's not all cute outfits and coffee runs. It's actually a lot of sweat, some tears, and a ton of discipline.

The 7:00 AM Wake-Up Call

While most of you are probably hitting snooze for the fifth time, my alarm goes off at 7:00 am sharp. I know, I know—it's early. But before I even think about touching my snowboard, I have to get in at least one solid hour of school.

I study through a home schooling program of Barcelona High School (BHS), which is honestly a lifesaver because it's all online. But doing it by myself? That's where it gets tricky. It's just me, my laptop, and my breakfast, trying to wrap my brain around history or English before the sun is even fully up over the peaks.

Mountains by Day, Math by Night

Once that hour is up, I'm out! I spend the whole day training full-time on the mountain. It's my favorite place in the world, but by the time I come down, I'm absolutely exhausted. My legs feel like jelly, and all I want to do is face-plant into my bed.

But nope! The grind doesn't stop. Since I'm chasing that pro-athlete life, I have to open the laptop again in the evening. Doing schoolwork after a full day of snowboarding is… a vibe. A very tiring vibe. And if I get lazy and don't finish my units? Well, there goes my weekend. I'll be stuck doing extra hours on Saturday and Sunday while everyone else is chilling. Trust me, you learn to manage your time real fast when your Sunday shred session is on the line!

My Secret Study Buddies

I'm not going to lie—homeschooling can be tough. It's not easy teaching yourself complex subjects. My parents are amazing and always step in to explain things when I'm looking at a screen like it's written in ancient hieroglyphics.

But my other secret weapon? AI. Seriously, it's like having a tutor in my pocket. If I'm stuck on a concept or want to check if I actually solved a math problem correctly (and didn't just invent a new type of calculus by accident), I ask the AI. It's basically my digital teacher!

Is it Worth It?

I'll be real with you: sometimes it sucks. I definitely miss my classmates and the fun of a normal school environment. Being "the girl who lives on a mountain" can get a little lonely when you're staring at a screen by yourself.

But then I remember why I'm doing this. I'm pursuing my dream of becoming a professional athlete. I've got my eyes on the Winter Olympics, and I'm literally doing what I love every single day.

Balancing high-level sports and high school takes a massive amount of responsibility, and it's definitely grown me up faster than I expected. It's a trade-off, but for me? It's 100% worth it.

I might be doing my math in a beanie and thermal socks, but I wouldn't change it for the world!

Stay stoked,
