Okay, real talk. My family doesn't do "holidays." We do tours. Like an actual travelling circus, except instead of elephants and a trapeze we have two parents, one snowboard girl, a mountain of winter gear and a very questionable number of chargers.
In one year we go Spain → Switzerland → Jakarta → Japan → Bali → New Zealand, and then do the whole thing again because apparently I can't stay away from snow for more than five minutes. So when Thule and Bags City asked if I wanted to team up, I said yes so fast I think I scared them a little.
Why my bags have trust issues (and why Thule fixes them)
My luggage has seen things. Wet snowboard boots in Laax. Sand from surfing in Kuta. Airbag-training sweat from Japan. A whole Southern Hemisphere winter in Cardrona, New Zealand. Most bags would file a complaint.
Thule makes gear for people who actually go places and get messy doing it, which is basically my entire personality. And Bags City is where you can find all of it in Indonesia, plus their own super cool house brand, Bagasi. So yeah, this one just made sense.
Can we talk about the colour for a sec?
I picked the Thule Chasm collection in Pond Gray, and I'm obsessed. It's grey, but with this soft blue-ish vibe, like a frozen lake at 7am before the lifts open. It looks amazing next to fresh snow, a Bali beach or a sad airport floor. Bonus: it's SO easy to spot on the baggage carousel, which matters when your family checks in what feels like a small apartment.

Meet the newest members of the circus
So what did I actually get? Three new travel buddies, and they already have personalities.
The Big Boss: my Thule Chasm wheeled duffel. This is basically the circus tent. Everything goes in here: snowboard pants, jackets, my helmet, and the forty extra layers my mum packs "just in case." It rolls behind me through airports like a loyal puppy and doesn't care about snow, rain or grumpy baggage handlers. It's so big my dad asked if I could fit inside. I'm not testing that. Probably.

The Little Sister: my Thule Chasm 30L duffel. She's the one that comes along on quick mountain trips and camps, like Camp Good Times in Finland. When my hands are full of snowboard, she turns into a backpack, which is honestly kind of genius.

The Bestie: my Bagasi Lobo backpack. This one is from Bagasi, Bags City's own brand, and I got it in black because I'm mysterious like that. It goes literally everywhere with me: on the plane, on the bus, to the café after training, and to my desk for home schooling (sigh). Best trick ever: it hooks onto the Big Boss's handle, so at the airport I'm officially hands-free. Main character energy.

Next stop: wherever the snow is
So the circus is officially packed and ready. The Chasm duo rolls behind me, the Lobo sits on my back, and my parents try to keep up. This season I'm taking them all over the world, from the Alps to Asia to the Southern Hemisphere, and I'll tell you honestly how they hold up. Expect packing tips, real reviews, and probably some very snowy luggage selfies.
Huge thank you to Thule and Bags City for joining the ride on my road to 2030! If you're curious, you can find the whole crew at Bags City stores around Indonesia or online at Bags City.
