Hey guys, I'm Zazi! Welcome to my world. If you're into chasing massive dreams, riding waves — both frozen and liquid — and living life to the absolute fullest, you've found your spot.
My story starts in the tropical energy of Jakarta. Today, as a proud Indonesian athlete with Indonesian-Dutch roots, I split my life between the snowy peaks of Laax, the streets of Barcelona, and the waves of Bali — on an official mission to put my home country on the snowboarding map.
People always ask how a girl from a tropical country falls head over heels for winter sports. It started when I was 4, skiing at Grandvalira in Andorra. By 7, I saw freestyle riders spinning through the air at the local snowpark. Something clicked — I turned to my parents and said, "I want to do that!"
With the support of the Indonesian Olympic Committee, my sponsors, and a whole lot of nekat (pure bravery), I now train at the legendary Laax Snowpark — coached by 2014 Olympic Halfpipe Champion Iouri Podladtchikov.
